Why Fly with Air Tahiti

Air Tahiti Destinations

Air Tahiti flies between 46 islands of French Polynesia and connects the majority of the residents of the area. In addition to providing transportation, Air Tahiti also allows for the medical, educational, and administrative exchange among the islands which helps to strengthen its social and economic relationship. Air Tahiti also acts as a charter to move goods from other areas into the region. Specifically, Air Tahiti flies from Tahiti to Bora Bora, Ahe, Reao, among other locations.

Air Tahiti Frequent Flyer and Loyalty Programs

Air Tahiti offers its Club Tiare Frequent Flyer program. It allows you to access the Air Tahiti Nui network that lets you fly from Tahiti to exciting cities such as Paris, Auckland, Tokyo, or Los Angeles by collecting miles every time you fly with Air Tahiti. It's free to join!

Air Tahiti Seating and Aircraft Information

The fleet of Air Tahiti and its subsidiary Air Archipels consists of 14 planes, including seven ATR-72 and three Beechcraft King Air B200. Because the planes can accommodate only a few passengers per flight, some flights, such as those on the Beechcraft, may not have stewards to assist you. You need to bring your own refreshments, and seating is open, meaning you do not select your seat until you board.

Air Tahiti Onboard Amenities and Policies

To avoid delays or missing your flight, make sure you allot adequate time to pass through customs if you are arriving from an international flight and need to access a connection.

To ensure the safety and comfort of guests traveling with Air Tahiti, all cabins are non-smoking and feature comfortable reclining seats. Due to the smaller size of planes, all flights feature an open-seating policy.

When flying around Tahiti or Moorea and the islands, you will enjoy a welcome fruit juice. If your flight leaves before 9am, you can also sip a free coffee or tea. On certain flights with a cabin crew, you will have the option of purchasing sandwiches, snacks, and drinks.

During your flight, you can appreciate the view of Polynesia from an aerial view and read about the area's history from the on-board magazines.
