Flying out of Washington Dulles Airport
Not to be confused with Ronald Reagan International just 37 km away and slightly closer to D.C., IAD, or Washington Dulles Airport, handles traffic between the federal government district and its suburbs. This also includes communities in the neighboring state of Virginia, such as Baltimore. The airport, like the community in which it is situated, is named after John Foster Dulles, who served as the Secretary of State under President Eisenhower.
The Main Terminal, which has won numerous accolades for its stunning, open-concept design, handles most of the activity in the airport. That includes the ticketing windows, customs and border protection offices, international arrivals, information kiosks, and other amenities. Air Canada Express is one of the few airlines that operates entirely out of the main terminal. Other airlines serving this route, such as Delta, Westjet, and American Airlines, operate out of the two separate satellite terminals.

Toronto Pearson International Travel Options Destination
Several airlines service this busy route, which is important for tourists, business people, or anyone even remotely connected with government. YYZ is divided into two main terminals that are both part of the same expansive building. The terminal that you arrive in is determined by your airline, as the Toronto airport is organized by alliance affiliate. Air Canada flights will arrive in Terminal One with the other Star Alliance affiliates, whereas flights with Westjet or Delta will arrive in Terminal Three. Passengers arriving from the United States who are staying in Canada can access the convenient and efficient express border clearance facilities in Terminal Three, which is also where connections to public transit, taxi services, and hotel shuttles can be found.
