Singapore Airlines is the flagship carrier of Singapore and the main airline operating out of Singapore Changi Airport. The airline is considered one of the world's top carriers and was named as the second largest airline in the world by the International Air Transport Association.

Singapore Airlines was the first carrier to offer flights on the Airbus A380, the largest passenger aircraft in the world. Today, the airline operates an all wide-body aircraft fleet consisting of 112 Airbus A330s, Airbus A350s, Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s. The airline owns three subsidiaries: Scoot and Tigerair, which operate as discount carriers; and SilkAir, which services regional flights to Singapore's secondary cities.

How to Check In

Online and mobile check-in services are available for all Singapore Airlines flights. You may check in as early as 48 hours and as late as 1.5 hours before your scheduled departure time. You can also print your boarding pass at home or download it to your mobile device before heading to the airport.

In-Flight Services

Singapore Airlines passengers enjoy world-class meals created by not just one, but eight internationally-known chefs. These meals feature seasonal and rare ingredients from around the world. Onboard WiFi is provided by SITONAIR and Panasonic. Travelling with kids? Singapore Airlines offers over 1,000 movies, TV shows, apps, and games to keep them happily occupied during the flight.

Baggage Allowance and Fees

When flying with Singapore Airlines, there are restrictions on the weight and type of baggage you can check in or carry on board. Passengers travelling in Economy and First Class can check two pieces of luggage. The maximum weight allowed for checked luggage is 23 kilograms for Economy Class passengers and 32 kilograms for First Class Passengers. 23 kilograms.
PPS Club Members can check in twice as much baggage as Economy and First Class passengers. KrisFlyer Elite Gold and Star Alliance Gold members may carry one additional piece of baggage on board, regardless of which class they are seated in. Fees for additional baggage are calculated at the time of check-in.

Seating Options

Each Singapore Airlines aircraft offers five classes of seating: Economy Class, Premium Economy Class, Business Class, First Class, and Singapore Airlines Suites. You can choose a specific seat at the time of booking and change your selection up until the time of check-in. If you're travelling with an infant, you'll be given the option of selecting a bassinet seat.
