Finnair flights & tickets

Considered a living gem in the north, Finland’s landscapes and natural treasures are second to none. In fact, the entire country is one of the cleanest on the planet. The air alone smells sweeter and seems to heal with every breath. Whether a trip to Finland involves festivals, nature’s bounty, theme days, a spa escape, the perfect view of the Northern Lights, a visit to Santa’s office, or a combination of the above, Finnair and Skyscanner can help you experience the trip of a lifetime.

Established in 1923, Finnair is one of the five oldest airlines in the world that has offered continuous, uninterrupted service since its inception. Yet, don’t let its age fool you. Finnair ranked as the 3rd safest airliner in the world in 2014 and continues ranking at the top. As both the flagship airline and largest flight company in Finland, Finnair is also part of the Oneworld airline alliance. Along with its subsidiaries, Finnair dominates Finland-based domestic and international air travel. Why not let Skyscanner help you secure the adventure of a lifetime?

Finnair has an aircraft fleet of 88 aircraft, 74 of which were active as of the beginning of 2017. Older Airbus A340 models are expected to retire and be replaced with new A350 aircraft by 2018. Finnair consistently transports over 10 million passengers to more over 80 Asian, European, and North American destinations. And since 2009, Finnair has been the only Nordic airline worthy of a 4-star Skytrax rating. They also won the TTG Travel Awards honor of Best European Airline in 2016.

Members are permitted up to two carry-ons with maximum measurements of 56 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm. A single small carry-on such as a purse or laptop bag that can easily be slid under the seat also permitted. Combined weight for all carry-ons must not be over 10 kg.

General passengers, however, are permitted one carry-on item with maximum measurements of 56 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm. One small item such as a purse, laptop bag, or backpack can also be brought on board as long as it fits under the seat and has maximum dimensions of 40 cm x 30 cm x15 cm. All infants and children must have a reserved seat to fly Finnair. Fortunately, great deals can always be found via Skyscanner’s mobile app.
