Why Fly National Airlines

How to Check-in

National Airlines' check-in counters open three hours before departure time, then they close within an hour of the plane's take-off. So, be sure to arrive in advance of the gate's closing. You're expected to be through security and waiting at your assigned gate at least 30 minutes early pre-flight. National Airlines doesn't currently offer online check-in services.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

For their flights, National Airlines allows passengers to bring on board two carry-on items: a small bag that doesn't exceed 45" or 35 lbs and one personal item, such as purse or briefcase. For check baggage, your first suitcase is free of charge. After that, you'll be paying $30 USD for a second checked bag and $75 USD for a third item. Strollers and car seats will be accepted without additional charge. You can also bring your pet on board for $50 USD, as long as their carrier is less than 46 linear inches.

Seating On-Board

Passengers on National Airlines flights can select their preferred seats. You can choose your seating during the booking process, or afterward if you call the airline's Call Centre. If you require more leg room, their National Premium Class leather seating provide 39 inches more space, plus the seat itself is wider for increased comfort.

Booking Fees

National Airlines accepts bookings with Visa and MasterCard credit cards. These payment options don't appear to require additional fees. This American airline also offers a flexible cancellation and exchange policy. Tickets can be exchanged for a fee of $125 USD if you've opted for National Promotional Fare or Economy Fare. For travellers who purchased Economy Flexible Fare or Premium Fare tickets, cancellations and exchanges are free.
