Why Fly With Kuwait Airways

How to Check In on Kuwait Airways

Kuwait Airways offers its passengers online check in through the airline’s website. Online check-in opens twenty-four hours before the flight and closes three hours before the flight. After checking in online, travelers are encouraged to arrive at their departure airport no later than two hours before their flight’s scheduled departure time. Travelers who cannot check in online can use the airport check-in counters. These vary depending on the airport, but typically open about three and a half hours before departure.

Baggage Allowance and Fees on Kuwait Airways

Kuwait Airways has a standardized baggage allowance for all of its flights. Travelers in economy class can check two bags weighing no more than 23 kilograms each, while the weight limit is increased to 32 kilograms for travelers in business class and first class. Royal class travelers can bring three bags under the more generous weight allowance. Passengers can also bring one piece of carry-on baggage into the cabin and bring one small personal item like a blanket, overcoat or umbrella.

At press time, passengers flying from Kuwait City to the United States are prohibited from carrying on electronic devices larger than a standard mobile phone. Passengers should check with Kuwait Airways for the most recent information about what possessions are permitted in the cabin and what must be placed in checked baggage.

Choosing the Best Seats on Kuwait Airways

After booking, Kuwait Airways passengers can log into the airline’s web portal and select their preferred seat within their chosen fare class. However, upgrading to a higher class of service must be done over the phone or in person at a Kuwait Airways reservations office.

Booking Fees on Kuwait Airways

There is no fee to book a flight on the Kuwait Airways website or through their local sales office. However, some Canadian banks charge their own fees for transactions posted in a foreign currency.
