Departing from Saskatoon -- Terminal Information
Saskatoon John G. Diefenbaker International Airport (YXE), also called Skyxe Saskatoon Airport, is comprised of a single terminal building that handles all incoming and outgoing flights. Travellers departing from Skyxe are in for a treat; the air facility, which was recently named the best in North America by Airports Council International, is known for its world-class services and amenities, which include restaurants, jewelry boutiques, duty-free stores, art installations, gift shops, and a Best Buy kiosk. WiFi is freely available throughout the airport.
There are two parking lots at Saskatoon Airport: P1 and P2. P1 is the airport's main parking lot and the closest one to the main terminal building. P2, also called jetSet, is Skyxe's economy car park. Access to this lot is located on Airport Drive after the terminal loop. Parking payments for both parking areas can be made by credit card in the lot, or at one of the automated pay stations inside of the airport's main terminal.
Arriving in Vancouver -- Terminal Information
Flights from Saskatoon are handled in the Domestic Terminal at Vancouver International Airport. Within this large, modern passenger terminal, you'll find a wide range of services for arriving passengers; among the airport's facilities and amenities are banks, restaurants, dry cleaning services, a luggage repair centre, and a spa. Information kiosks are located on the Departures level of the Domestic Terminal.
Outside of the Arrivals exit of the Domestic Terminal, you'll be presented with several convenient options for travelling to downtown Vancouver. In addition to local buses, free hotel shuttles, coach lines, taxis, and limos, there are several car rental companies (including Avis, Budget, and Hertz) that operate out of the airport's parkade. Vancouver International Airport is also served by the Canada Line, a rapid transit system that transports passengers from the airport to downtown Vancouver in around 26 minutes.
