Check In, Seat Assignment, and Additional Legroom

Online check in is available through the Aeromexico website or through the mobile app. If you choose to check in at the airport, you are asked to do so 3 hours prior to departure for all international flights. If you have already printed off your boarding pass, you can check in 90 minutes before your scheduled departure.

Aeromexico asks that you be at the gate and ready to board 30 minutes prior to departure for domestic flights, and 40 minutes prior for international flights.

Seat selection is available at the time of booking, or on the website or mobile app up to 24 hours before departure. This service is free of charge for most tickets, with some exceptions based on fare class and route. A fee is charged for seat selection on Economy fares to and from Canada, Central America, the Caribbean, and several other destinations. Those travelling with a Flexible Fare ticket or in Premier Class may choose their seat at no additional cost.

If you would like a seat with additional legroom, you have the option to upgrade to Aeromexico Plus at the time of booking, or as an add-on at a later time.
