Needless to say, this state-of-art airport is always filled with people, flying off to destinations worldwide. Haneda Airport is known for its excellent service and prompt departure times.
There are three terminals inside Haneda Airport, Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and the smaller International terminal. Nicknamed "Big Bird", Terminal 1 is the largest building on-site. It hosts a sprawling shopping area, business center, rooftop decks for observation, and an open-air café. There's also an impressive, six-story gourmet restaurant! Terminal 2 certainly doesn't disappoint by comparison either. Inside, you'll discover a massive luxury hotel, a six-level shopping mall, another open-air restaurant, and an astounding selection of dining options.
Check-In: Tokyo Haneda International Airport
Since Tokyo to Osaka is a domestic flight, you should arrive at the airport at least 60 minutes prior to take off. Most airlines allow travellers to begin the check-in process online, up to 24 hours beforehand. However, you'll still need to drop-off your baggage and get through Japanese security. Before you leave from Terminal 1 or 2, you must present a valid passport to board the plane. Additional photo ID may also be requested.
