When flying out of Bangkok on your way to Singapore you have the choice of two airports. The larger of the two is Suvarnabhumi Airport, which handles most of the major airlines, including Bangkok Airways, Cathay Pacific, Jetstar, Thai Airways, and Singapore Airlines. The secondary airport is Don Mueang International, which is primarily used by low-cost carriers, including Scoot, Thai AirAsia, and Thai Lion Air. Note, however, that Scoot also flies to Singapore from Suvarnabhumi Airport as well as Don Mueang. All flights to Singapore from Suvarnabhumi Airport leave from Terminal 1. From Don Mueang, all Singapore-bound flights also leave from Terminal 1.

Singapore Changi is routinely ranked the best airport in the world. The airport currently has three terminals, with a fourth due to open in the latter half of 2017. Flights from Bangkok arrive at all three terminals and the arrival terminal isn't always announced until a few hours before the flight. Despite that minor inconvenience, if you have to catch a connecting flight at Singapore Changi you don't need to worry too much. Getting from one terminal to another is fast and easy and wait times at immigration and security are usually very quick. When leaving the airport you can take the Mass Rapid Transit train, with the station located between Terminals 2 and 3,  a taxi from the arrivals hall of any terminal, or you can rent a car from a number of rental agencies, again located in each arrivals hall.
