Departing from Hong Kong International Airport
Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) is located more than 40km from the city center, but is still easily accessible. A typical taxi ride from central Hong Kong will run you about $60, making public transit an attractive option! The Airport Express train can take you from central Hong Kong to the airport in 25 minutes, for about $8 CAD. There are also public bus routes available for $4 to $7, but they take longer to reach the airport and space for your belongings is limited.
If you're taking your car, affordable long-term parking is available at the airport in car parks 2 and 4. It will cost you $75 for the first 3 days, and $26 for each additional day.

Arriving at Singapore Changi Airport
After landing in Singapore, follow the signs to grab your luggage and make your way through customs. There are a number of options that will get you to your hotel quickly:
- Taxi: located just outside the arrivals area in all terminals, a typical ride will cost $25-$50. However, the price varies depending on the time of day and whether you have to pay any toll fees.
- Airport Shuttle: head to the Ground Transport Desk and give the name of your hotel or hostel to the agent there. Tickets are $11.50 per adult and you should reach your hotel within 30 to 60 minutes of leaving the airport.
- Mass Rapid Transit (MRT): follow the signs that say "Train to City" to the basement in terminal 2. To travel on the MRT, you'll need to purchase an EZ link card to pay your fare. These are reloadable cards that cost $6.25 (non-refundable), and the average fare is between $1-$4 per trip. You may need to transfer to another line to reach your hotel.
