Travellers need a visa to visit Bolivia for Business.

Travellers must obtain a paper or embassy visa from an embassy, consulate or visa center before travelling.

Travellers do not need a visa for Tourism stays up to 90 days. Travellers need a visa for longer stays.

Travellers arriving in Bolivia must complete the Affidavit of Accompanied Baggage and Foreign Currency Form before arrival. Travellers can complete the form online.

Travellers need a valid passport to enter Bolivia. The traveller's passport must remain valid for at least 6 months after the traveller arrives in Bolivia.

Travellers should consider:

• Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B vaccines;
• Typhoid vaccine for visits to smaller cities or rural areas;
• Routine vaccines including Measles;
• Yellow Fever vaccination if travelling to the following areas east of the Andes below 2300 meters, the entire departments of Beni, Pando and Santa Cruz, and designated areas of the departments of Chuquisaca, Cochabamba, La Paz and Tarija. Yellow Fever vaccination is not recommended for travellers whose itineraries are limited to areas above 2300 meters and all areas not listed above, including the cities of La Paz and Sucre.
