Located about 8km from Copenhagen's city centre, Copenhagen Airport (CPH) is Denmark's largest and busiest airport. The airport is served by over 65 airlines. When flying from Copenhagen to London, England, you'll have your choice of airlines such as British Airways, easyJet, Ryanair and Scandinavian Airlines, all of which offer direct flights.
All airlines flying out of Copenhagen Airport share the airport's two terminals, so your flight could depart from either one. Both terminals offer various dining options and free Wi-Fi. For European flights, the airport recommends arriving at least two hours prior to flight departure. You will need a valid passport to fly.
London Airport Options
Heathrow Airport (LHR) is the biggest of London's six international airports. British Airways and Scandinavian Airlines both offer direct flights from Copenhagen to London's Heathrow Airport. The airport is between 40-60 minutes from London's city centre by taxi (depending on traffic). If you take the Heathrow Express train, the journey takes approximately 15 minutes.
British Airways flies into LHR's Terminal 5 and Scandinavian Airlines flies into Terminal 2. Both terminals have restaurants, shopping and other amenities available at arrivals.
Norwegian Air Shuttle and easyJet both offer direct flights from Copenhagen to London's second-busiest airport, Gatwick Airport (LGW). This airport is quite far from central London, at approximately 48km south. Norwegian Air flies into LGW's South Terminal and easyJet flies into the North Terminal.
Ryanair is the only airline that offers direct flights from Copenhagen to London Stansted Airport and to London Luton Airport. No airlines fly direct to London's other two airports.
