British Airways has the majority of the flights, offering several convenient departure times each day. Prices between British Airways and Flybe are competitive and the lowest on this routing. Edinburgh Airport has one main terminal and all departure gates are on the first floor. The airport is located just 12 kilometres from downtown Edinburgh, roughly a 30 minute drive.
What to Expect When Arriving at London Heathrow
British Airways uses Terminal 5 at London Heathrow, with arrivals on the ground floor. Flybe arrives at Terminal 2 on the first level. Each terminal has its own baggage claim areas and security checkpoints. London Heathrow is 25 kilometres from London's city centre, easily reached by the Heathrow Express train which stops at Terminal 5 and at Terminal 3. The latter is connected to Terminal 2 and convenient for Flybe passengers. The ride to Paddington Station takes about 15 minutes. Car rental desks are also available in the arrivals section, near baggage claim.
