What You Need to Know
Travellers can get to both airports in Tokyo by train, monorail, shuttles, or taxis, and it is recommended that passengers on flights to Vancouver from Tokyo get to the airport at least three hours before departure time. Travellers have to undergo customs inspection when leaving Tokyo, and they must declare foreign goods or cash in excess of one million yen being taken out of Japan.
Visitors to Tokyo must have an embarkation card, which they show along with their passport and boarding pass at the outbound control counter.
