Getting to Grenoble Airport

GNB is a small airport that mainly offers seasonal and charter flights. The only year-round flight route is between Grenoble and London (STN) through Ryanair. Seasonal flights from other European destinations are available through a wide variety of low-cost and international carriers like British Airways, easyJet, and Wizz Air.

Canadians can not fly directly to Grenoble from Canada. To get there, you'll have to route through a city like London (LGW or STN), Rotterdam (RTM), or Stockholm (ARN). Most flights to Europe from Canada will depart from either Toronto (YYZ) or Montreal (YUL).

Because France is a part of the Schengen area, Canadians can visit visa-free as a tourist for up to 90 days in any 180 day period. To avoid any issues when entering France, make sure your passport is valid for at least 3 months longer than you plan on staying in Europe.

There is a restaurant in the departures area, as well as three 24-hour snack bars (one in the departures area, one on the ground floor, and one in the arrivals area). There is also a duty-free shop, a souvenir shop, and a newsstand.
