When is the Pride Parade in Toronto?
Toronto throws one of the biggest and brightest Pride celebrations in the world, with the city dedicating the entire month of June as ‘Pride Month’. The city’s planning a number of events and celebrations throughout the month, with the main parade happening on June 23rd, just a week before the Canada Day long weekend celebrations in Toronto.
The Pride Parade in Toronto will begin on the corner of Church Street and Bloor Street at 2:00 p.m. and will make their way down Yonge Street to the Dundas Square stage.
During Toronto Pride Month, there will be a Trans March on Friday, June 21, Family Pride on June 22nd and 23rd at Church Street Public School and the Dyke March on Saturday, June 22nd.
It’s important to remember that there is a ban on police marching in uniform at Pride Toronto and is recommended to avoid military uniform as well when attending the festivities.
Toronto Pride 2019: Main Events
The Opening Ceremony for Toronto Pride Month is on June 4, 2019, at Toronto City Hall.
Throughout the month of June in Toronto, there will be a number of cultural and celebratory events to enjoy. A Pride Month VIP Pass is available for access to Pride Moth Events and Festival Weekend VIP Areas. The main stages are located at Yonge and Dundas Square, Wellesley Stage, The South Stage, Central Stage, Village State and the Church and Wood DJ Station.
Another popular event is the Cabana Pool Party on Thursday, June 13 at Cabana Pool Bar (11 Polson St.) at Til Sunset Island Party at Artscape Gibraltar Point on Toronto Island on Sunday, June 16, 2019.
Toronto Pride Street Fair
During Toronto Pride, the Street Fair is located on Church St, Wellesley St. and Alexander St. where a number of vendors will be open from Friday, June 21-Sunday June 23rd.

Is the Toronto Pride Parade accessible?
The Toronto Pride Parade tries to make festivities as accessible as possible. Mobility services and assistants are available to access and enjoy events. There will also be American Sign Language interpreters and descriptive or alternative format media for all those who require it. The accessibility services hub is located at Church St. and Gloucester Street.
