Miami International Airport consists of three passenger terminals: the North Terminal, the Central Terminal, and the South Terminal. The terminal buildings are divided into six concourses (Concourses D, E, F, G, H, and J) and linked by the airport's free Skytrain service. Flights from Miami to Toronto are handled in the Central Terminal (Concourses E, F, and G) and the South Terminal (Concourses H and J). Ticketing and check-in desks are located in the departures zone on Level 2 of each terminal building. The information desk is located on the 2nd floor of the Central Terminal, in Concourse E. Arriving at Toronto Pearson International
Flights arriving from Miami on Air Canada and United Airlines flights are generally handled in Terminal 1 at Toronto Pearson International Airport. Flights for all other carriers are handled in Terminal 3. The airport's free train service, called LINK, connects the two terminal buildings with the Viscount Station parking lot and the nearby Sheraton Gateway Hotel. Travellers arriving at Toronto Pearson International Airport can choose from a number of ground transportation options for getting to the city centre. These include Toronto Transit Commission TTC) buses, GO Transit buses, taxis, limousines, and hotel shuttles. There are also several out-of-town services that transport passengers to Toronto's surrounding suburbs -- Brampton, Mississauga, Oakville, and Pickering.
Practical Information
U.S. citizens do not require a visa to visit Toronto. You will, however, need to have a valid passport. It's recommended that passengers departing from Miami International Airport arrive at least two hours before their flight to allow for enough time to check in and undergo security screening.
