Not to Loki standard
We are so glad this was the last Loki we stayed in as we doubt we would have stayed in another after this experience. Which would have changed our holiday for worst!
First impressions was fine we were escorted to the room by the lady who checked us in. We spoke to her in regards to a tour to Ica and she handed us the brochure to which we said we would like to book. She informed us that she would call and come and let us know once she hear back. We told her we needed it booked asap as it was already 4.30pm and we didn't want to miss out for the following day. 1.5 hours had passed so we thought we should double check. She said oh sorry I've been busy. Annoyed and knowing the travel agent would be almost shut for the day we left and found the office to make our reservation before they shut at 7pm. If this lady was too busy she definitely should have let us know earlier to give us a head start.
That night we returned back after dinner and asked for towels, unfortunately there were no towels available. This is the first time towels were not waiting on our bed in a Loki. We had to dry ourselves with bed sheets for the entire stay, it was a joke. There were signs around the Loki stating towels could be rented.
The room we were in was disgusting. The bathroom stunk, the floors covered in mould. The rooms were damp which in turn made our clothes in our bag feel moist and stink. The level of cleanliness was poor. You felt dirty for standing inside. The mattresses had a plastic around them which turned them into sweatboxes and the fitted sheets didn't fit over them so you would wake up with your skin in direct contact with the dirty plastic cover. Great!
We are a group of 4 and have proved very easy to please throughout this trip, we have had such a good history with Loki's this was so disappointing.
Not a massive issue but we also were not able to print our flight tickets, we were able to do so at both Cusco and Mancora. Clearly staff here just don't care as much and go above and beyond for you!
This needs to go to management as this is clearly not up to the Loki standard we received our entire trip.

Best place to party
The staff where really nice and friendly, we got loads of help from them specially the local stuff.
Tje location is nice and close to places to see and transport.

Awesome people, ace staff
Loki Lima is a destination location were locals and travellers get together and socialize. It's a great mix watching travellers have their first social interactions with locals who are practicing their second or third language while enjoying festivities.
But what really made Loki was the staff, Simon runs the events and gets the nights to click and a big night at Loki has a lot to do with his influence. Jordan serves the beverages but you'd swear he was a patron with the way he bounces with the people on the other side of the bar, he's as witty as a whiskeyed Irishman!
Anna the manager is a shrewd linguist. English, French, German, native Spanish and the rest, quite the polyglot. Anna's multilingual abilities give her great opportunity to interact and help as many travellers as possible something I'm sure they appreciate deeply.
And last but not least is Victoria. If you're checking in or out of Loki Lima there's a good chance that it will be Victoria looking after you. Victoria is an extremely conscientious and industrious receptionist who will see to it that you are welcomed into Loki and looked after for the duration of your stay as if you're part of the family.
