Athens is full of ancient history, architecture, and great food. The city is rather big so plan for a lot of time between all of the historic sites.

Although the center and most of the interesting places to see are close to the Acropolis, it still is one the must see cities in Europe.

More than 3000 years of Western history, from then till now all in one, super vibrant city. Sort of like a big civizilation soup. Great night life, more things to do and see than you possibly shake a stick at. Easy access to beautiful Islands, beaches and countryside. Probably the most reasonably priced place to visit in Europe. Go there love it!
