Nice hotel in city centre

Very nice hotel in the city centre of Vilnius. Unfortunately I was there only one night so didn’t have much time to do sightseeing.
The hotel is very nicely renovated. The entrance has a modern atmosphere and the bar is well situated at the entrance. There’s enough space to sit down and have some drinks.
The room (I had number 222) is located at the front of the hotel, so you hear some noise from the street (which is the main street of Vilnius). Further, the room is quite large and there’s a coffee machine and minibar. The bathroom (with shower, which I prefer) is also spacious and meets the standard. There weren’t much aminities but I don’t care about that. The furniture has some Scandinavian twist, which I liked.
The staff is friendly and check-in and check-out are efficient. I will certainly recommend a stay in this hotel.

Dear Jeroen v,
Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with us.
We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay and appreciated our central location in Vilnius. Although your visit was short, it’s wonderful to know that you found the hotel beautifully renovated and enjoyed the modern atmosphere of our entrance and bar area. We are also pleased that you liked the Scandinavian-inspired design of your room.
Thank you for mentioning the slight street noise in Room 222. As we are located on the main avenue, the lively city atmosphere can occasionally be noticeable. We will check and adjust the windows to ensure everything is properly sealed and comfortable for our guests.
It is great to know that you found the room spacious and well equipped, and that the bathroom met your expectations. We also truly appreciate your kind words about our friendly team and the efficient check-in and check-out process.
Your recommendation means a lot to us. We hope to welcome you back soon, perhaps for a longer stay to enjoy even more of beautiful Vilnius.
Warm regards,
Hotel Neringa Team

Everything was excellent, but the minibar in the room was not working at all. The drinks were warmer than the room temperature. When I mentioned this at the reception, they explained that the minibar only chills drinks to 15 degrees, and if I want them colder, I should ask for ice at the reception. So if you want a beer or wine, you’re supposed to drink it with ice or wait another 30 minutes while it chills in ice? Really?

I chose to stay here as a solo traveler and this was the perfect stay in every way! From the moment I checked in, the staff was gracious and helpful, even asked if I needed an adapter. I was able to walk everywhere after taking an uber from the airport, perfect location near many bars and restaurants. The rooftop bar was an added bonus and the drinks were #deelish!

Unfortunately, negative experiences

I cannot understand the good reviews at all.
We were here for 2 nights during our group trip.
Rooms facing the street are extremely loud.
The renovated rooms may have a vintage charm, but I find a brown room and bathroom decor outdated and not comfortable.
Some rooms have the house wall next door just 2 meters away directly in front of the window.
We found the breakfast to be very sparse and not appropriate for a hotel of this category. It was the worst on our trip (cheap cheese, no natural yogurt, no fresh egg dishes).
The worst part was the breakfast room itself: dark and without windows.
The bed was good.
The service staff were quite unmotivated.

Dear Guest,
Thank you very much for taking the time to share your impressions following your stay with us. We are very sorry to learn that certain aspects of your visit did not meet your personal expectations.
We understand that every guest experiences a hotel differently, and naturally opinions and preferences may vary. We are grateful that many of our guests appreciate the atmosphere, character, and style of our hotel and we also fully respect that it may not correspond to everyone’s individual taste and expectations.
In particular, interior design and décor are always very subjective matters of personal preference. While some guests enjoy the vintage-inspired style of our reconstructed hotel, we completely understand that others may prefer a different aesthetic.
We also appreciate your comments regarding the breakfast selection. We would, however, like to kindly mention that plain yogurt is available on our breakfast buffet, and we are sorry if this may have been overlooked during your stay. In addition, our egg dishes are prepared fresh and replenished continuously throughout breakfast service, although we do not operate an open kitchen. We would also respectfully note that we place importance on the quality of the products we serve, including our cheese selection.
Thank you as well for your remarks regarding the room location and service, which we will take into careful consideration as we continue working to improve our guests’ experience.
At the same time, we are pleased to hear that you found the bed comfortable, and we thank you once again for your visit and your honest feedback.
Kind regards,
Hotel Neringa team
