A wonderful little capital city in a wonderful little country. Organized and clean.
We went here using our Swiss rail pass. You take the train to a city like Sargans then take the bus into Vaduz (covered by the pass). Not a lot to see but you can go to the tourist office to get your passport stamped (3 Euro). Very modern and not much different the Switzerland except for the license plates.
Vaduz is the capital of Liechtenstein, and the home of Vaduz Castle, a few museums, the parliament building, and a helpful tourist information center. Be sure to get your passport stamped at the information center before hiking up to Vaduz Castle for a nice view over the city and beyond.
Vaduz is a small tourist town, as well of the capitol, in Liechtenstein. It's the gateway to Triesenberg and the local Alps. It has the usual shopping and restaurants, and you can pay the tourist officers to stamp your passport. You can catch buses to almost everywhere else in the country from here, although you'll probably connect through Schaan.
