Cheap flights from Ukraine

Ukraine is a large country in Eastern Europe with a long and proud history dating back many centuries. While in recent years Ukraine has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons, such as the occupation of Crimea and the war near the Russian border, the country is starting to bounce back. While the regions of Crimea, Lohensk, and Donetsk should still be avoided, the rest of the country is safe for tourists, including the capital of Kyiv (Kiev), the stunningly preserved cities of Lviv and Odesa, and the folk culture of the Carpathians in the southwest. If you are looking to travel around the country or elsewhere, there are a number of airports in Ukraine to choose from.

If you find yourself in Ukraine and are looking for places to fly to then you should take advantage of Skyscanner's Everywhere Search, which will show you the cheapest places you can fly to from your nearest airport. Airports in Ukraine

Ukraine has a large number of international airports. For safety reasons, international airports in Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk are not listed due to travel advisories in place against visiting those regions. The following are the most popular international airports currently operating in Ukraine:

  • Kyiv Boryspil International Airport
  • Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany)
  • Odesa International Airport
  • Lviv International Airport
  • Kharkiv International Airport

Choosing an Airport

As you might have noticed, Kyiv has two international airports. While both airports serve international flights, if you plan on travelling outside of Ukraine then you will likely use the Boryspil International Airport. However, Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) is a good choice for finding a low-cost flight within Europe.

Outside of the capital, Odesa and Kharkiv are good for flights to Europe and the Middle East, although many of the routes only operate seasonally. Lviv, being a popular tourist destination, is a good choice for flights to Europe, particularly with low-cost carriers.

Popular Destinations

From Kyiv, some of the most popular destinations to fly to include Moscow, Tel Aviv, Amsterdam, and Frankfurt. The latter two destinations also offer plenty of opportunities for connecting to destinations even further abroad. Middle Eastern destinations, particularly Red Sea resorts and Dubai, are popular from many of the larger Ukrainian airports.
