Getting to Lagos Airport

The best way to get to the airport is via car. You can hire a taxi to get you there or arrange for transportation with your hotel. If hiring a taxi make sure you agree on a fare before getting in the cab. The drive to the airport should only take 30 minutes to an hour,  but Lagos is a massive city with frequent traffic jams, so give yourself plenty of extra time. Furthermore, security screenings at the airport have been beefed up in recent years, which in turn have led to considerable delays. Finally, the airport consists of two terminals and getting from one to the other is not easy or convenient. Make sure you know which terminal you are supposed to be at prior to arriving at the airport.
