Budget hotel

The hotel is in the centre, you can park the car near the hotel for free, sometimes even right outside the hotel. What you get for 55Euro incl breakfast ? Nothing modern but clean room with little bit of dust and comfortable bed. Shower worked, bring your own shower gel. Balea hand gel is not enough. Stupid TV was not HD. The floor was creeking and when the guest next door was taking a shower it sounded like earthquake. Paper walls. They need new paint ASAP. Breakfast is very basic. Anyway i slept very well and the lady in reception was amazing. Do not forget this is the cheapest hotel in Selb.

Nice hotel with very convenient location

Really enjoyed staying in this hotel, found it to be charming, the evening meal was delicious amongst the best we enjoyed during our 2 week holiday. Selb has a lovely sleepy ambience which makes relaxing here easy. Stayed here with 2 young children, the large box of toy cars in the dining room was a great hit with our little boy.

Renovierungsbedürftig

Wer auf 70er Jahre-Ambiente steht und über einiges hinwegsehen kann, der mag hier richtig sein.
Im ganzen Haus einschließlich unserem Zimmer roch es muffig. Einen Fahrstuhl zu den oberen Zimmern gibt es nicht.
Das Zimmer in dem wir nächtigten, ist auf dem Stand der 70er Jahre stehengeblieben. Gleiches im Bad. Der Teppich gehört dringenst gereinigt, besser noch ausgetauscht. Lediglich am Flachbildfernseher wurde seither offenbar investiert.
Das Zimmer lag an der Hauptstraße und war daher recht laut. Auch war das Zimmer recht hellhörig, wegen dem knarrenden Fußboden mag gar nicht umhergehen.
Ein Pluspunkt steht dem kleinen Frühstücksbuffett zu. Hier wurden vor allem frische und schmackhafte Wurst-und Käsesorten zur Auswahl gestellt. Der gereichte Kaffee schmeckte zudem sehr gut.
In Zeiten von Corona reicht es nicht beim Check-in nach "geimpft" zu fragen. Man läßt es sich vom Gast auch beweisen!

Finger weg....

Das man hier den Zustand des Hotels als gemütlich und ausreichend bewerten kann ist für mich unerklärlich…
Es riecht muffig, schon im Flur sieht man das es ungepflegt und dreckig ist. In Zimmer mit Teppich ist der Boden richtig versifft .. der Hund pinkelt auf die ausgeschriebene, Sonnen Terrasse (die wie das Restaurant geschlossen hatte obwohl es anders angepriesen wird)
Es ist einfach nicht zumutbar. Sind abgereist. Man kann erwähnen das der Besitzer bemüht war das beste raus zu holen aber leider deckt dies nicht den Zustand des Hotels. Dringend renovieren und putzen bitte!
