Saint Malo is situated right on the Brittany Coast and the views of the English Channel are a handsome backdrop for many a stroll on the beach or dinner in a seafood restaurant. Unfortunately the water is ice cold (even in summer)! Saint Malo is a lot less crowded than Cherbourg and good for a quiet getaway or a last look at France before hopping a ferry to the UK.
An hour and a half away, but well worth a visit. A magnificent walled city which is also one of our main ferry ports.
Beautiful town on the water in Northern France. Probably one of my favorite destinations on our drive around France. Beautiful castle and town inside the castle with plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping. The seafood offered was as fresh as it can get.
Hi, Saint malo, the place more visited in Britany, France, by the North of Europe. For to go there you can take a plane to London, a bus for Porthmouth, and the ferryboats (Britany Ferry) until Saint Malo. Or take the plane to Paris, Gare Montparnasse and take the direct TGV. The History of this place is very rich, known as the City of Corsairs, it was the first Republic I have hear learn about. It was totally independent, and the old King of France was not Right on the Land of Saint Malo. Anyone could to be save there of the King of France. Saint Malo is "remarquable" in beauty and good services and Quality. There are beaches with "sable fin"!!! GO & RELAX
