Nice place with terrace overlooking the gardens so very pleasant on a warm sunny evening. Pool very clean and was nice to swim in but I wouldn’t call the overall faculty an ‘oasis’ - it feels a bit more functional than that.
Nice and friendly staff at both reception and in the restaurant.
Very modern and obviously renovated bathroom which made my room feel very liveable in but thin walls in the bedroom and I could hear coughing from the room next door.
Overall the place is tranquil and relaxing but just a bit tired in places.

Super service, nice rooms, clean and nice, streaming on TV. Little minus - there was no nutella as well as strawberry jam for the morning food :-)

Lovely experience.

We had a fantastic September wedding at Scheelsminde. The day was unforgettable, the food good and the service in top. We strongly recommend that you contact Scheelsminde and book an appointment with their event coordinator, who is always open to a conversation about the details of a party / event that you want to be perfect and in your spirit.
A small minus has been the room billing and communication about it, and another minor detail like the size of their snack and dessert. But it tasted great. That said, the communication has been super good.
Most importantly, we could think of having a party at Scheelsminde again.

Fancy accommodation built in a wonderful historical building. The swimming pool area is amazing, very well serviced. That's what I appreciated the most.

The setting of the hotel in an old large farm house is very special in the modern suburbs of Aalborg. The bus to the Centrum is at the entrance of the property. The breakfast at this hotel was outstanding! We enjoyed the sauna and the pool immensely however the best part of the experience was staff who were attentive, kind and informative. We loved our stay there!
