Good detector. The worst host I have been ever met
1. She shouted to the girl that There are a lot of water on sink when she used it.
2. I asked to turn off or down the air con it was 22 degree at night and sleeping because of throat soar. But she refused. Even though I ask 1 degree up. It is unconfortable only she can adjust temperature inside the room.
Is it difficult to just up “only 1” degree???
You leave customer in fck refridge at all night.
3. She did not explain about breafast. I just noticed after that.
4. She so much come to the room inside to do sth. Cannot relax inside. You are good detector.
5. When I ask sth, she told me I am asking other quest like that. Very strict and scary.
Not customer friendly..
6. When I ask if there is trash bin inside the room, she anwers that I dont have bacause I dont need it. Yeah,,,,,you will dont need it. But customers will need it. Think about it.

Regarding the air conditioning due to previous conflicts between guests (including damages affecting other guests and me), temperature is centrally managed. Guests are always encouraged to agree together, as it is a shared space and its only fair.
As for the sink usage, it is strictly not allowed to wash clothes or shoes in it, as this has caused serious plumbing issues in the past. For this reason, showers are designed to allow washing and proper drainage.
Our staff does not enter rooms without reason cleaning and maintenance are part of daily operations to ensure hygiene and comfort for all guests, also check outs and check ins.
We always aim to create a pleasant environment for everyone, but in a shared hostel setting, mutual respect and understanding between guests is essential.
Regarding entering the room – we understand it may feel uncomfortable.
However, in a shared dorm with multiple beds, rooms must be cleaned, prepared, and maintained daily for other guests. Beds don’t make themselves, and hygiene does not maintain itself.
Trash bins were removed from rooms after repeated hygiene issues, including inappropriate waste being left behind, food leftovers, panties, shoes, etc.
This decision was made to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for everyone.
We appreciate understanding that shared spaces require shared responsibility.
We appreciate your stay and wish you all the best.

Please note this Hostel is only for the ages of 18-45.
However, closer to my arrival date, the host messaged to remind me that the hostel has an age limit of 18–45. I’m nearly 60 and hadn’t noticed this when booking—it was in the fine print. I had, as most people do, clicked the box agreeing to terms without realizing this was part of them. I immediately replied through the booking platform to explain the situation and asked if she could cancel. She said she couldn’t, and that I had to do it myself—but it was a non-refundable booking, so there was no option.
In our message exchange, she remarked that “people my age complain too much” and “confuse hostels with hotels.” That may be true for some, but I’ve walked five Camino de Santiagos and stayed in hostels all over Europe and the U.S. I understand the spirit of hostels very well. Painting all older travelers with the same brush felt unfair.
She said I could stay after all—but by then I’d already rebooked at another hostel. (Which turned out to be lovely, thank you Design Hostel One)
While the host was responsive and the property may suit younger travelers, I’d advise others to read carefully for the age restriction. This hostel enforces it selectively, and the policy is not highlighted clearly at booking. I would not recommend this place for travelers over 45, even if you’re experienced and respectful of house rules.

First, I would like to clarify that I never said that “people of a certain age complain too much.” What I did explain is that, over the years, I have had some very serious and even traumatic situations in the hostel environment. These included life threats, aggressive behaviour, and situations where my safety was at risk.
Because of such experiences, certain policies including the age guideline are in place primarily for safety and to maintain a balanced and comfortable atmosphere in shared dorms.
That said, I do not apply this rule blindly. When guests communicate respectfully and I feel confident about the situation, I have made exceptions in the past. However, when communication becomes confrontational, I must prioritize safety both for myself and for other guests.
It is also important to note that I cannot know a guest’s age unless it is communicated to me. This is why I reach out in advance when needed.
I truly try to accommodate people whenever possible. In fact, I have personally gone above and beyond for guests who needed assistance, even staying awake through the night to help when necessary( for example 90year old woman, summer 2025, she couldnt even go to the toilet by herself)
I understand that not everyone reads all policies carefully, but they are in place for a reason. I kindly encourage all guests to review them before booking, so expectations are clear on both sides.
I wish you all the best in your future travels.
