Getting to Dortmond Airport

DTM is a small airport with only a few airlines offering year-round flights. Luckily, most of their airlines are low-cost options! easyJet, Eurowings, Ryanair, and Wizz Air are all represented, with regular routes between Dortmund and other European cities.

Unfortunately, there are no direct flights available from Canada to Dortmund. To get there, you'll have to stop in a major international airport like the ones found in Munich (MUC), Frankfurt (FRA), or London (LTN).

Germany is a part of the Schengen area, which means that Canadians can visit visa-free for up to 90 days at a time. You can also travel freely within Schengen area countries during your 90-stay trip! To avoid any issues at the airport, make sure your passport is valid for at least 30 days longer than you plan on staying in the Schengen area.
