Cheap Flights To London Airport
One of the more peaceful and scenic cities that often gets lost in the urban checkerboard of eastern Ontario, London Airport (YXU;) is known for its arts community and historic buildings. The airport doesn’t get half as much press as other nearby international travel hubs in Detroit and Canada's biggest airport, YYZ in Toronto, but it’s still one of the busiest airports in the country. The airport is also considered a point of entry by Nav Canada and is staffed by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
Airlines that fly to London, Ontario
There are only a few airlines that use YXU on a regular basis, and most of the airlines here are only seasonal but don’t think that means this is a small, quiet airport. The frequent flights to vacation destinations, connections to other Canadian cities, and convenient distance from the border ensure this stays a busy transportation point. The roster is exclusively national but the destinations are a mix of Canadian and international cities.
- Air Canada Express, a small group of regional airlines, operates commuter flights to this airport from Toronto and Ottawa throughout the year.
- Westjet and Westjet Encore serve several major Canadian routes from this location and also fly to Orlando in the winter.
- Sunwing, Canadian North, and Air Transat are the three airlines in YXU that operate on a strictly seasonal basis. The fly to destinations in the Southern United States and Cuba along with a few Canadian destinations.
