The airport is out of town but it is easy to get there. The Airport Express bus runs a return service from the airport to Reykjavik 35-45 minutes after each arriving flight. The FlyBus is located right outside the terminal and regularly makes the 45 minute trip in to Reykjavik. Several taxi companies offer service to the airport, and car rentals are available from four major companies.
Keflavik airport has free wi-fi, and currency exchange is available in both the arrival and departure areas. The airport has shops and restaurants and prides itself on the unique design of the commercial area, which is meant to reflect Icelandic culture. There is only one terminal, so connecting flights are not difficult to find, but at least 90 minutes should be allowed between flights.
