It is a large, modern airport full of shops, restaurants, and lounges to keep you entertained while you wait for your flight. Long-term parking is available at the airport in several locations:

Arriving in Montreal
After landing at Montreal's Pierre Trudeau International Airport (YUL), follow the signs to collect your bags and move through Canadian customs. You can reach your hotel in a variety of different ways:
- Taxi ($40, 30 minutes to downtown): Taxis are available right outside the terminal entrance. There is a minimum charge of $17 for any destination from the airport, and tipping 10-20% is customary for good service.
- 747 Express Bus ($9, 45-70 minutes, depending on traffic): The 747 Express Bus runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from the airport to downtown Montreal. Your ticket price also includes free public transit for 24 hours after you validate your ticket, so you can reach your hotel easily.
- Rental Car: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar Thrifty, National, and Hertz all have desks at YUL. If you book a car ahead of time with Skyscanner, it will be waiting for you when you arrive!
Practical Information
Plan on arriving at the airport at least 3 hours before your flight departs, so you have enough time to check in and find your gate. This is a long-haul flight, so we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and bringing along some reading material or a pillow for the plane.
