South Korea's second-largest airport is Jeju International Airport (CJU). The airport is located on an island south of South Korean's mainland. From this airport, you can fly direct to cities in South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Japan and Taiwan.

Direct flights from Jeju to Seoul are frequent and relatively inexpensive on airlines like Asiana Airlines, Eastar Jet and Korean Air. Domestic passengers should arrive around an hour before flight departure with airline ticket and valid passport.

Seoul Airport Options

Seoul, South Korea's capital and largest city, is served by two international airports. The busiest of the two is Incheon International Airport (ICN). ICN is a luxury airport with a golf course, spa, casino, ice skating rink and large duty-free shopping mall. The airport is also ranked among the world's fastest airports for arrivals and departures.

While nonstop flights are possible from CJU to ICN, you'll have more options and cheaper prices if you fly to Seoul's other airport, Gimpo International Airport (GMP). Airlines like Korean Air and Eastar Jet fly nonstop from CJU to GMP every day, multiple times per day.

Gimpo International Airport is located about 15km from central Seoul. The airport consists of three terminals: a domestic flight terminal, an international flight terminal, and a terminal just for cargo flights. Outside of domestic arrivals, there is a taxi pickup area, many city bus stops, and access to the subway system. There are also three rental car companies.
