Located 13 km east of central Shanghai, Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA) is the main hub for Shanghai Airlines, Spring Airlines, Juneyao Airlines, and China Eastern Airlines. SHA handles the needs of over 40 million passengers per year via two terminals, but T2 is solely for domestic flights. Amenities such as WIFI, viewing gardens, and plenty of food and shopping options are available to all visitors.
Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) is located 30 km from central Shanghai and acts as a major hub for China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, Juneyao Airlines, and Spring Airlines as well as an international hub for Air Canada. PVG handles the needs of 66 million passengers a year via two terminals and 70 boarding bridges. T2 is mainly used for Air China and Star Alliance airlines. WIFI is available for visitors who have a Chinese mobile phone number. Business centre, food and drink stations, and a photo booth can help expedite the wait times.
Arriving at Singapore Changi
Located 17.2 km north of Downtown Singapore, Changi Airport (SIN) is the city’s largest civilian and commercial airport. It’s rated as the World’s Best Airport for five consecutive years and is a permanent hub for Jetstar Asia Airways, Scoot, SilkAir, Singapore Airlines, and Singapore Airlines Cargo. SIN handles the needs of over 58 million passengers annually via three huge interconnected passenger terminals. T1 is on the northern side of the airport, T2 is on the east side, and T3 is on the west side.
Free WIFI is available, as are children’s play areas, an aviation gallery, and city tours from T2 and T3.
