Vancouver, a bustling Canadian city on the Pacific Coast, is a gateway to the Sunshine Coast, Vancouver Island, Whistler Ski resort, several points in the American west, and the interior of Canada. It’s common to connect in this city via boat, ground transport, or float plane to virtually any destination in the world. Some of these airports and their connecting transit systems were expanded to cope with the crowds for the 2010 Winter Olympics, and many of the renovations have remained in place for increased crowds of tourists, travelers, and business people.
