As a Canadian, you can enter Iran with a passport that is valid for at least 6 months from your expected date of departure. However, you'll still need a visa to enter the country. We strongly recommend checking the Government of Canada's website for travel advisories and entrance requirements for Iran, as certain offences can cause you to be denied entry to or exit from Iran.
The Best Time To Visit Shiraz
Shiraz has four distinct seasons, with extremely hot summers and extremely cold winters. The best time to fly to Shiraz is during the spring or autumn (March to June or August to October), when the weather is mild and pleasant. Many people prefer not to travel to Iran during Ramadan, the Muslim month of fasting, because most restaurants close between dawn and dusk. However, it's a great time to choose if you want to enjoy the sights without a crowd of tourists!
