Cheap Flights to Tallinn Airport

As you walk through the cobblestone streets of Tallinn's Old Town, passing by the fourteenth-century town hall and the medieval city walls, you would never imagine that you were also walking through Europe's most technologically innovative and digitally connected city.  However, it's true: beneath its impeccably preserved and restored historical façade, Tallinn hides a secret modern side.  Explore both the new and old with a stay in Estonia's capital city, arriving through the Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport (TLL), more commonly known as Tallinn Airport.

Best Time to Book a Flight to Tallinn Airport

Most travelers will enjoy visiting Tallinn between May and September, thereby avoiding most of the heavy snowfalls and average temperatures that hover below zero degrees Celsius.  The first few days of June see the annual Old Town Days, with festive parades, craft fairs and live music performances throughout the historic city center.  June 23rd and June 24th are also celebrated as Saint John's Day, or a celebration of the longest days of the year.  Estonians celebrate the summer solstice with bonfires, feasts and family gatherings in the countryside.  If you strike up a friendly conversation with a local, you just might be invited to join in their family's festivities.  Once you've decided when you want to visit Tallinn, use Skyscanner's price alert tool to be notified of any airfare sales or price drops.

What to Expect When Arriving at the Tallinn Airport

The Tallinn Airport is located in the Ulemiste district of Tallinn, only two kilometers or so from the city center.  The small airport markets itself as "the world's coziest airport", and the sunny arrivals hall offers services including free wireless internet, three ATMs, car rental services and a café serving typical Estonian dishes.  Bus #2 stops at the airport midway through its route; if you're heading to the city center make sure you catch it heading in the direction of "Reisisadam".  There is also reliable taxi service into downtown, and an hourly regional bus that travels to Tartu.
