Discover Menorca

Spain's island of Menorca is a popular summertime destination for European travellers. Floating in the Mediterranean Sea, it's part of the Balearic Islands and sits nearby to Majorca and Ibiza. Menora is largely considered to be the most peaceful, least overrun island. With plenty of beaches, lovely patios, and delightful resorts to enjoy, this charming place is certainly worth a visit.

Getting into Menorca by air is possible with the help of Menorca Airport (MAH). Running mostly on a seasonal schedule, this international airport hosts a staggering number of flights from Europe in the summer. During the rest of the year, it's still possible to fly there, but far fewer trips are offered. Skyscanner can help you find the cheapest airfare to Menorca with our Cheapest Month search too.

Menorca is most beautiful during spring and summer. What to See and Do in Menorca, Spain

For such a small place, this Spanish island packs a big punch! Menorca is home to many attractions for couples, families, and solo travellers. Most visitors travel to the island to enjoy its Mediterranean beaches, which are ideal for swimming, kayaking, and sailing. Other popular outdoor activities are hiking the Camí de Cavalls trail, horseback riding by the coastline, and taking scuba diving tours to underwater caves.

For sightseeing, Menorca doesn't disappoint either. There are prehistoric monuments at Naveta d'es Tudons, amazing 19th-century castles and fortresses, and towering lighthouses for watching the island's gorgeous sunsets. Once you're done exploring, we recommend tucking into a dish of fresh seafood with an island cocktail made from Minorcan Gin.
