What to Expect When Arriving at the Airport

Lviv Airport is a modern facility comprising two air terminals: the older Terminal 1, which serves a small number of arriving passengers; and the newly-built Terminal A, which houses nine gates and four jetbridges capable of handling up to 2000 passengers. There is an information desk on the ground floor of the terminal near the main entrance. This desk manned with multilingual staff who can assist visitors with inquiries about tourist attractions, accommodations, and transportation.

Ground transportation from Lviv to the city centre is provided by taxis, limousines, and several car rental agencies. the airport is also served by public bus 48, which departs from the new terminal and runs to Svobody Aveue in the city centre; and trolleybus 9, which runs between Terminal 1 and Ivan Franko University in Downtown Lviv.
