The Airport Express runs every 30 minutes from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and then every hour until midnight. There are also a couple buses that leave between midnight and 6:00 am. You will find the ticket booth and stop for the Airport Express just outside of the Arrivals exit. The trip to Amman takes 45 to 60 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from outside the Arrivals Hall. Taxi fares from the airport are fixed and you will need to get your ticket from the taxi stand controller. Airport facilities

The Norman Foster-designed Queen Alia International Airport opened in 2013 and features just one terminal, which replaced the three separate terminals of the old airport. The airport design makes catching a connecting flight very easy. When arriving for a flight it is recommended that you reach the airport two hours before departure. There are ATMs throughout the airport, but be advised that they are known to charge hefty exchange and service fees on foreign bank cards. Wifi is free and there are also prayer rooms, an information tourist booth, three lounges, and a spa. The airport features numerous duty-free shops, cafes, stores, as well as a plethora of restaurants ranging from American fast food to Middle Eastern fare.
