Airlines that Fly to Powell River Airport

Powell River Airport has year-round scheduled service provided by Pacific Coastal Airlines.  These non-stop flights connect the town with the Vancouver International Airport, and as of early 2017 they were operating at least twice a day, seven days per week.  From April to October, KD Air offers three flights per day that connect Powell River Airport to Qualicum Beach Airport on Vancouver Island. 

What to Expect When Arriving at the Powell River Airport

The Powell River Airport is a very small, single-runway airport with a small terminal that is approximately the size of a gas station.  Because the airport only serves domestic routes, passengers will not need to pass through customs or immigration upon arrival.  The small airport has only a few services, including one car rental office, bathrooms and a vending machine.  On the right side of the parking lot there is a diner-style restaurant, and arriving passengers can walk into town in twenty minutes, or call a local cab company to be picked up a the airport.  If you are staying at one of the town's hotels, they may be able to arrange pick-up from the airport.
