What to Expect When Arriving at the Powell River Airport

The Powell River Airport is a very small, single-runway airport with a small terminal that is approximately the size of a gas station.  Because the airport only serves domestic routes, passengers will not need to pass through customs or immigration upon arrival.  The small airport has only a few services, including one car rental office, bathrooms and a vending machine.  On the right side of the parking lot there is a diner-style restaurant, and arriving passengers can walk into town in twenty minutes, or call a local cab company to be picked up a the airport.  If you are staying at one of the town's hotels, they may be able to arrange pick-up from the airport.
