Officially named Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, Mauritius Airport (MUR) is the African island nation of Mauritius’ main airport. It is also the home of the national air carrier, Air Mauritius.  

With an interesting terminal building that was designed to resemble a local tropical palm, airport facilities at MUR include shops and restaurants, a pay-to-use lounge, a relaxing spa, a prayer room, children’s play areas, ATMs, currency exchange services, and more. Mauritius Airport sits 48 kilometers outside of the capital of Port Louis. Well connected by road, many people use taxis or pre-arranged shuttle services to get to and from this airport.
