People can get between the Domestic Terminal, the International Terminal, and Skygate through the complimentary Airport Shuttle bus. The terminals are about 4 km from each other, and the ride takes about 10 minutes. Skygate is a shopping center at the airport with over 120 discount stores, bars, restaurants, a supermarket, a chemist, a hairdresser, and a bakery.
Both terminals have several ATMs, vending machines, charging stations, parent rooms for feeding and changing infants, toilet and watering facilities for assistance animals, pay phones, and showers. There's a prayer room on Level 4 of the International Terminal, and the entire airport has free wireless internet access. Remember to arrive at the airport about three hours before your flight to pass through security, and let your airline know if you'll need any special assistance, like a wheelchair, when you book your flight.

Vancouver International Airport has a Domestic Terminal and an International Terminal as well. There's also a smaller South Terminal for floatplanes and other regional flights. Visitors can travel between the terminals through the Link building or the free shuttle. Like Brisbane Airport, Vancouver International Airport has duty-free shopping, ATMs, restaurants, bars, and a chemist. There's also a spa, a 24-hour children's play area and nursery, and a pet relief area in the International Terminal for service and companion animals. The pet relief area has low counters for people using wheelchairs, a touchless entry system, and artificial grass.
What You Need to Know
Travellers will need passports for all Brisbane to Vancouver flights, though Australian citizens can apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to enter Canada, and it costs only CA$7.
What to Expect in Vancouver
Visitors can request a free shuttle to a nearby hotel or rent a car. The Canada Line, Vancouver's rapid transit rail, can take people to downtown Vancouver in about 30 minutes as well.
