Departing from Bangkok

Bangkok is served by two international airports. Suvarnabhumi Airport (commonly referred to as Bangkok International) is located in the east, and Don Mueang Airport is to the west. Both airports are easily accessible from the city center by taxi, train, or bus, but DMK is typically used by low-cost carriers and tends to have cheaper flights available.

In Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), you'll find plenty of shops, restaurants, and lounges to keep you busy while you wait for your flight. This airport is very busy, so plan on arriving early to beat the rush! Free wi-fi is available, with charging stations for all of your devices as well as designated smoking areas inside the airport.

Don Mueang Airpot (DMK) is much smaller than BKK, but is still quite busy due to Thailand's booming tourism industry. Despite its small size, DMK is home to a variety of shops, cafes, and two lounges that even economy passengers can visit (for a fee)! Free wi-fi is available for up to 2 hours.
