My main objective to sangka is Mon bridge. From hotel to Mon bridge, approx. 10 minutes walk distance. And the way you walked to Mon bridge, properly not other visitors will walk through, so you can enjoy a diff. angle to view the Mon bridge. As it 's near Mon bridge, it 's great to watch the sun rise and foggy view around Mon bridge, of course you can go join the offer the food to monks at morning time. Let 's talk back to accommodation, it 's a real Thai home stay style. No doubt you can't compare it to hotels, but absolutely you can act like a local when you stay here. The hostress is a very kind and nice person, now she owns a little food shop next to hotel and offer local food dishes for visitors. Very important she can communicate in english and can give you any suggestions on where you wanna go nearby. One Extra credits, as the place near is low light pollution, if you walk back to hotel at night. please look up and see the sky with many many stars right up your head.

Very homey!!
The breakfast provided at Grandma's Home was wonderful! We had some vegetables fritters and vegetarian egg noodles for breakfast. Fa even packed the noodles for us as we had to depart to the bus station early.
You'll have a taste of life of a local here at Grandma's Home - The rooms were traditional rooms with mattress on the floor + a mosquito netting. Toilets were the traditional squat toilets as well. Hot water is available though (Love the high water pressure!). Despite so, our stay was really comfortable! The rooms and toilets were really clean!
Grandma's Home is about 10 minutes walk to the Mon Bridge, 20 minutes walk to town.
We wished we could stay longer at Grandma's Place! Fa even lend us her bike to get to the bus station which was really sweet of her.
Our only negative experience was that we were given a private double room and charged a private double room price (650 Baht), instead of the two single room price (200 Baht * 2 = 400 Baht). We booked two single room but were given a private double room instead, and charged a double room price. We would really appreciate it if we were told in advance about the price difference.
But nevertheless, we had a very enjoyable stay at Grandma's Home!

- ราคาที่พักไม่แพง ถือว่าถูกมากเลยแหละ
- คุณยาย แต่อายุยังไม่เยอะ ให้คำแนะนำการท่องเที่ยว ที่เที่ยว ได้ดีมาก
