Located 10 kilometers from the center of Pau, the city's train station and the A64-A65 motorway, the Best Western Hotel & SPA Pau Lescar Aeroport offers a spa area with a swimming pool and hot tub. You will have a drink in our bar open from 11 a. M. To 12 a. M. Wi-Fi and parking are free. The air-conditioned and soundproofed rooms include a private bathroom with a shower or a bathtub. There is also a seating area with a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle. In the morning, you can enjoy a buffet breakfast. The hotel is six kilometers from Pau-Pyrenees Airport, 10 kilometers from Chateau de Pau, and 500 meters from the shopping center Lescar Soleil.

Decline... a four-star Pension in decline
Service:
Notable errors appeared at check-in. Despite a Reservation made two months in advance for a room with two separate beds, our request was not respected, forcing us to opt for a suite with a sofa bed. In addition, the opening time of the pool is a little late: 10am, it is always nice to swim before returning the room at 11am. Until now, there were no real morning schedules.
Cleanliness:
Once impeccable, the Pension's cleanliness has significantly decreased in quality. Unfortunately, I noticed mould on the false hallway ceilings, a worrying sign of neglected maintenance. However, the cleanliness of the rooms remains satisfactory, with modern and functional bathrooms, but the overall shine of the Inn has clearly faded.
Facilities:
Pension facilities show clear signs of aging. The air conditioning filters, obviously uncleaned, make the air conditioning inefficient, an unacceptable situation in the middle of summer when the temperature in the room reached 28 degrees. Although the staff reacted quickly by changing rooms, other problems remain. The shutters of our room were defective, and the Jacuzzi, once a pleasant convenience, now operates randomly, while the steam room has been closed for more than three years. Furniture in common areas, especially upstairs, also shows signs of pronounced wear, such as eroded armchairs.
Restoration:
The quality of the breakfast remains very correct and diversified, the quality has not changed.
Conclusion:
It is regrettable that a Pension that once stood out for its quality has allowed it to deteriorate to such an extent. I sincerely hope that management will take the necessary steps to restore the level of excellence that earned it its four stars. Currently, the institution may no longer deserve this prestigious Ranking. My wish is to see this Inn return to the level of quality that once made it so attractive.
