A run down motel

I don't want to write a bad rating for the place that we stayed but this is my experience that a 100% happen to us.
We booked this motel a non smoking room for 3nites. We weren't expecting a 3star motel as long as clean and no smell and can enjoy our stay. But this one was a nightmare. We disepointed with everything. The lady asked a $100 deposit and was clearly say in Expedia $50. She gave me a tv remote cotrol with sticky tape and key. I found the room with a cigarette smell and 1 towel and broken vanity door also mould in the fridge. No heating sensor and power point is dangling and dangerous. The TV is 100yrs old Box type. Our clothes and jacket had to be washed from the cigarette odour.I had to tell the owner that we booked a non smoking room and he kindly moved us to another room which a better condition and free cigarette odour. I thank him for that. My message here is the customer service just bad. Don't treat customer as a low level because we don't speak French. WiFi is on and off. Car park in front of the door. Cleaner come with no toilet roll or extra bath matt. Linen was old also pillow has stain. Bed is OK. Overall we didn't enjoy our stay. The same price in quebec city we have a 3star hotel with strong WiFi no deposit and free breakfast. This motel have give u nothing good. The only one nice was the owner. Please do some make over and let the customer enjoy our stay.

Worst Motel in Quebec

This is the worst motel I've seen in Ontario.
1) They charged my Visa $50 damage fee extra for a place already damaged.
2) Stay away from room 5!!! My bed seriously leaned at a 45 degree angle.
3) There were huge cigarette stains in the blankets of both beds.
4) One of my 2 pillows looked somewhat clean...the other looked like it wasn't washed in a week of use.
5) The carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in 2 years.
6) No flat screen tv. You had to get the remote control from the bar and return it there. You could not even use the channel up down on the remote but had to manually enter every channel number.
7) I kept all our bags off the floor. I slept on top of the blanket for fear of going under the covers.
8) It is not in Gatineau.... it is 28 km from there.... costs you extra gas!!!
9) We had to get this one because it was July 1st... Canada Day and nothing else was available.
10) My recommendation in Gatineau: Motel Adam
You could not pay me to stay at this place again... couldn't wait to get out of there!!!

Stay away!

This place is terrible! Lost my reservation, very very poor service. Could hear right through the walls into the next room. Stains on the bed sheets. Window was glued together. Stains on the carpet. By far the absolute worst place I have ever stayed!

Price is justified

For $50, it is exactly what I would expect. I needed a place to sleep and shower, and that is exactly what I got. The free wifi and free parking are a bonus as well. The room is not beautiful by any means. The rooms are not dirty. You can tell it is an older motel.
Overall, if you're just looking for a place to sleep for a cheap price, this is the place to go.

DISUSTING. DON'T DO IT.

NEVER GO HERE. It was disgusting. I had reserved in advance as I had a nearby wedding to attend. I had to retrieve my key in a tiny bar lined with VLT machines which was packed at 2pm. They ran my card for the price of the room and an additional 20$ for the remote, which was in a drawer at the bar. I realize they must have done this in advance to discourage people from leaving. The room was filthy, smelled of urine and opened onto a dumpster. Especially as I was travelling with my toddler, I requested a refund. I could not stay there. The manager would not allow his employee to refund me (she seemed apologetic) and he requested to talk with me over the phone. She handed the phone to me and he yelled at me for insulting his establishment. I am in the process of contesting the purchase through my credit card company. Go to Pignon Vert down the road, I did.
