Sofia Airport (SOF) is located on the east side of the city, about 10km from the city center. Metro line 1 connects Sofia Airport to the city, and the trip takes about 18 minutes. The Metro also connects to the local bus, trolleybus, and railway stations. Car rentals are available from several companies inside both terminals just after clearing customs.

There are three cafés in Terminal 2, and comfortable lounges in both terminals. Both terminals have banks, ATMs, currency exchange, and post office services.
