Cheap flights to Poznan International Airport

Poznan is widely considered to be the birthplace of the Polish nation and features one of the most beautiful of Europe's historic city centres. Poznan International Airport (POZ) is the country's oldest airport, having been established more than a century ago, and located conveniently close to the city centre. While it is a small facility, it provides an easy way to reach this exciting Polish city. You can use Skyscanner's monthly search feature to help you narrow down the cheapest time to fly to Poznan.

Poznan is generally pleasant to visit anytime of the year, with summers offering warm temperatures and great nightlife, although seeing the old town blanketed in snow during the winter has its own charm. One word of caution, however: Poznan is famous for its trade fairs and when they come into town finding a hotel room or a cheap flight can be hard, so try to plan accordingly. A taxi stand is also located outside of the arrivals hall and will get you to the city centre in a matter of minutes. You can also rent a car from one of the agencies located in the terminal.

Airport facilities

Poznan Airport is a modern facility, but not very big. While you will find the basics that one would expect from a modern international airport, like cafes, duty-free shops, and ATMs, don't expect many of the extras. That being said, the airport does offer a Business Executive Lounge and a VIP Lounge, plus a conference room. There are also three currency exchanges open 24 hours. While wait times are usually reasonable, if it's the high season or a trade fair is in town then you might get stuck in a long queue.
