The most crowded times, however, are between December and February, which is summer. The months of June, July and August are considered the lean tourist season, because it's winter. It's a great time to come if you wish to head down to the Andean ski resorts of Bariloche, however.

Reaching Buenos Aires is easy. There are dozens of flights each day from North America, and tools like Skyscanner can help you find the best deals. You only need your passport. All you need to do is to pay a $92 reciprocity fee before you get on the plane bound for Buenos Aires, and flash the receipt when you board your flight.
